What is this medicine used for?
This medicine is indicated for those who have hypertension, (high blood pressure), and is also approved for treatment of enlarged prostate gland.
How does this medicine work?
It blocks chemicals that cause blood vessels to constrict (narrow). The result is relaxation of both arterioles and veins, lowering blood pressure.
How is this medicine taken?
Take the medicine as prescribed regularly. Take the first dose of this drug at bedtime. Dizziness may occur with this medicine, especially after the first dose, or when the dose is increased, so be cautious.
What if I miss a dose?
Take your next dose as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double doses.
How is this medicine stored?
Store at room temperature in a tightly closed container. Keep away from heat and light.
Are there side effects?
The most common listed side effects are cough, nasal congestion, dizziness, headache, and nausea.

Are there precautions with this medicine?
